锂离子聚合物电池广泛应用于手机、蓝牙设备和笔记本电脑等日常设备中。标签是这些电池的重要组成部分。它们充当电池正负极之间的连接器，实现充电和放电。这些接触点位于电池内部，而不是外部可见的铜片。标签由不同材料制成：正极是铝，负极是镍，负极也有镀镍铜。它们由薄膜和金属条的组合构成。薄膜充当绝缘层，在封装过程中防止短路和泄漏。
目前市场上有三种薄膜：黑胶、白胶和单层胶。常用的乙烯基薄膜具有三层结构，每层具有不同的熔点：三聚氰胺（66°C）、PE（105°C）和 PP（137°C）。
