应用
真空悬浮熔炼炉是一种采用水冷坩埚的电磁感应真空悬浮熔炼方法的新型熔炉。它是在真空条件下,将熔化的金属或非金属固体置于感应线圈形成的高频或中频交变电场中,利用水冷金属坩埚作为磁场的 "能量收集器",使能量磁场的能量集中在坩埚的容积空间内,在目标熔体材料表面附近形成强大的涡流。
一方面向目标熔体材料释放焦耳热,另一方面形成洛伦兹力场,使目标熔体材料悬浮(或半悬浮)和搅拌。由于磁悬浮的作用,靶熔体材料与坩埚内壁分离,因此靶熔体材料与坩埚壁之间的散热行为由传导散热变为辐射散热,导致散热率降低。目标熔体材料可以达到很高的温度(1700 ℃ - 2000 ℃),适用于熔炼高熔点金属或其合金。
